Glenapp Castle

Five Star Glenapp Castle is celebrating its 10th Anniversary in 2010. Since opening, the castle has won a string of accolades and awards and is a member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux.

Glenapp Castle is a spectacular example of the 'Scottish Baronial' style of architecture, set in 36 acres of magnificent gardens and grounds high on a hill looking out across the Irish Sea to Arran, Ailsa Craig and the Mull of Kintyre.

Each room has been individually decorated in traditional style and furnished with carefully chosen fine antique furniture and original art. The beautiful Ayrshire and Galloway countryside has wonderful gardens, historic houses and places of interest for guests to visit.

With three AA rosettes, dinner at the castle is a wonderful experience. We serve a daily changing six course gourmet menu and recommend wines from our cellars to complement dinner each evening.

Glenapp Castle is open from mid March until 2nd January, with the exception of Christmas week for individual reservations or exclusive use for weddings and as a relaxing retreat for sporting breaks and corporate entertaining.
